The Butterfly Project: Book 1 Aubrey Chapter 2

Sorry the title keeps being so long O.o

I just finished Chapter 2. It's 8 pages long, and I gave you guys an exerpt in the last post. It didn't have much to do with the chapter, but y'all know how I get. I start writing about one thing and my thoughts lead me elsewhere.

Summary:

I talked about the nightmares I had every night, a couple flashbacks about "Urey" (Nick), a little bit on my views about love and heartbreak, music (playing guitar and writing songs/poems), a little more about actually being heartbroken (written from post-breakup perspective), then I further introduced "Kristen" (Twitch) and "Sloan" (Ivey).

I talked about the things that Tay has gone through (not exactly briefly, but I didn't say everything that I wanted to because I need to be able to spread it out thru the rest of the book) and about my relationship with her and the closeness I feel towards her and I talked about her as a person.

I also introduced Sloan a bit more. I didn't get very far into detail with her yet. It comes later in the book. For those who don't know who Ivey is, go to my main blog.

I talked some about Tay's music, also. Oh!! I almost forgot that I haven't told you guys this, but Taylor has been reading these things as well as my actual book as it's being written. She got random inspiration and wrote a song for the book :) so it's going in the movie if this thing actually gets big.

As I said before, I don't care about fame or money. I care about getting this stuff out there because there are real people with real problems out there every day. The point in this series, mainly, is that you never know where a person has been or where they are until you get to know them. You never know what someone might be going home to.

But, yeah, when I see Taylor again, Imma see if I can get a vid of her playing the song for you guys :) it's going on her album, I think, that's coming out...next year? I dunno. I'll ask.

After I talked about Kristen, I said a brief bit about "Addy" (Ashley). If you wanna see that, go to the post before this and read it cuz I just copied and pasted it. Honestly, I felt like I had this huge weight taken off my chest.

I also gave my views on lying and gossip: what I consider it to be and how I feel about it.

What's worrying me is that I'm catching myself talking in circles in the book...like, what I WANT to do is to introduce something and make it more and more specific as I go according to its relevance in the story.

For the record, the first 3 chapters are for introductory purposes. They introduce certain characters and develop them as it goes. They tell what some of them have been through, but I can only give a limited amount of information, otherwise everything will be given away at the beginning. This is not as easy as it looks.
