So, I finished writing Chapter 3. It actually covered a lot. It's 11 pages long and it made Taylor cry. I was really vivid with alot of things that I remember about my parents amoung other things.
At the beginning of it, I was talking about all these feelings I kept having about Nick and Brit being together. It made me sick to think of let alone to write. I talked about her some and about him. But I also brought up the things that kept spinning through my head about right before they got together and right after...the things Nick and I said to each other and how intense it all was...I said that I was afraid of how easily I lost him. Remember, you guys, that this is a story so the things in real life that it's based on will be happening faster than I'll be able to write about them. Also, the names are different. Just sayin'.
After all of that, I talked about the "Spiritual Weirdness" meaning my...unusual abilities. I also talked about Kristen's character in that scenario since she and Urey are almost the only ones who know Aubrey has these abilities (you guys have to remember Aubrey represents me and all of these things are real). Also, Kristen and Urey have some abilities themselves. But Urey's are very different and will not be included in the story otherwise he'd be SO pissed.
Then I talked about how to get rid of demons. It goes along with the spiritual weirdness. My demonic and spiritual encounters.
After that, I brought up my dad. I talked about everything I remember about my life from ages 8 and down. I talked briefly about my parents' divorce and everything I learned about my dad. I also gave a few things at the end that I personally experienced and remember vividly enough that I could write it out. I ended the chapter with one of those things.
This stuff gets pretty graphic, you guys. I'm not putting the full thing up because frankly, I don't want anybody to steal my stuff. This is MY story. This is what I've grown up in. It's my life. No one can take it from me. So, when I finish writing it, I'm gonna try to get it published. Wish me luck!!

Echoes by Melinda Metz
Hey guys, so I FINALLY got this book. It's divided into 3 individual books: Echoes, Haunted, and Trust. The first book, Echoes, has 12 chapters. It basically introduces the main character, Rae, and tells about a nervous break she had at school. Her mom died in a mental hospital after having killed someone but it's very vague about that right now. Her dad is an English professor who was so insanely in love with her mom that he completely overlooked murder because in his eyes she could do no wrong. Rae (short for Rachel) resents her mom for having hurt someone who was innocent. She's worried that she's becoming like her mom because of the nervous breakdown she'd had in the cafeteria. No one treated her the same since that.
She had spent the summer in a mental hospital and then after she'd convinced them that she was sane, she just had to attend group therapy. The doctors thought that she was having paranoid hallucinations but evidently she could read people's thoughts off of their fingerprints...particularly the ones that were left on objects. So she could hear whatever they were thinking when they left that fingerprint.
This guy, Anthony, who I'm convinced she's gonna end up with, helped her figure out what these "not-me thoughts" were. The problem is this: someone wants Rae dead and tried to frame Anthony for her attempted murder. She has heard those particular thoughts from the person who tried to kill her, but she has yet to figure out who said person is.
In the Epilogue of the second book, it's written from the perspective of her potential murderer. This person reveals that they are planning to get close to Rae and then take her down so she doesn't hurt someone the way her mom did. Here's the deal, though. Rae never told anyone about her mom. The closest she came to that was when she was talking to Yana about it. She was extremely vague though. And I swear if Yana was real, she'd be my bestest friend if I wasn't so sure that she was the one trying to kill Rae.
I'm in the second chapter of Haunted. When I say there are 3 books I mean it's one book (Echoes) divided into 3 parts (Echoes, Haunted, and Trust). The first has 12 chapters, the second has 14, and the third has 11. So I'm about 1/3 of the way through it. It's a really good book, you guys, and I've been wanting to read it for awhile. At first, I thought she was schitzophrenic. But now that it's logical, it's a slight let-down, but the plot makes up for it. But now I have to find a book about a schitzo chick.....sorry, I just think that'd be epic.
